1987 Buick LeSabre EnergyCel LogoInstallation!

Updated 11-21-2008

This is the installation of the EnergyCel on my 87 Buick LeSabre using a stainless steel looped fuel line. Using Stainless Steel there will be no magnetic field dilution from ferrous metal which is not present in the stainless steel fuel line and should provide maximum benefit. I chose the stainless steel tube because I felt it would last much longer than a suitable rubber line capable of handling this fuel pressure.

This car was getting good highway mileage prior to this installation. Being well tuned and equipped with AMSOIL bumper to bumper this car was a prime candidate for testing the EnergyCell. This Buick did have some in town driving problems. Would go dead without warning and hesitated from take off. After the installation of the EnergyCel the engine ran erratic so we reset the computer. Once this was accomplished the car began to run much better than before around town as the computer began to retune itself with the new mileage and emission information from the EnergyCel. On a recent trip to East Texas this car used 3/4 tank of fuel getting just over 30 miles per gallon. On the same trip this past week the car used noticeably less fuel, less than the previous 3/4 tank. I'll be posting updated fuel mileage results here as I drive the car more.
